Colon and Candida Cleansing: Why They’re So Desperately Needed

Thursday, April 2nd, 2009

It entertains me that I’m such a fan of colon cleansing because the first two times anyone broached the subject with me, I responded with something along the lines of, “Um, do you mind if we change the subject?” (more…)

Body Odor Is Common, But Is It A Sign of A Problem?

Sunday, March 29th, 2009

Body odor becomes an interesting subject when you understand that we’re really not meant to have it. Body odor is actually a sign of toxicity in the body – its odor leaking through our skin.

How do I know? Well, I’ve done very thorough body cleansing and except for a rare occasion, I haven’t had daily body odor in years – which wasn’t the case before I began cleansing. And the rare instance when it appears is generally when I’m detoxifying, in which case I can smell that mess as it’s making its way out of my body. (more…)

Solving the Health Care Crisis…

Sunday, March 29th, 2009

Most of the population has at least one or two health problems – and the very group entrusted with the health of the population can’t tell you why.

At the same time, literally hundreds of different, unnatural chemicals are put on or in most humans each and every week. These chemicals enter our bodies regularly through foods and personal care products. Unfortunately, few people understand the extensive use of unlabeled, “behind the scenes chemicals” in foods and even fewer understand that all of these chemicals accumulate in the body and actually have some sort of effect on the body. And, let’s be clear, it’s not a positive effect. (more…)

Are Chemicals In Food Really Safe?

Saturday, March 28th, 2009

Have you thought about the safety of what you put in your body lately?

Let’s look at soft drinks for example. Coke is so acidic that it makes a great automobile engine cleaner, and it’s even rumored that the manufacturer uses it to clean the engines of their own trucks. On top of that, the liquid product then sits for who knows how long in an aluminum can. Have you heard that aluminum in the body is associated with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia? (more…)

Body Cleansing to Quit Smoking and Lose Weight

Wednesday, March 18th, 2009

Many smokers keep it up because they think they will gain weight if they quit. But what if smoking was more a factor in weight gain – but one that took place over time? “How can this be?” you ask. Let me explain…

Your liver is your prime detoxification and your prime fat burning organ. Actually, your liver has over a thousand jobs in the body, but two of its critical ones are daily detoxification and burning fat.

Most people know that smoking pollutes the body with literally hundreds of different and dangerous chemicals per cigarette. But, what you may not know, is that with habits that pollute the body to such an extreme, your liver (which filters chemicals and toxins from your blood) easily becomes overworked and overloaded from the constant need to detoxify all of these incoming chemicals.

In addition to just being overworked and overwhelmed, your liver will also eventually become pretty thoroughly congested with toxins. This is because if your liver can’t render a toxin harmless for you – it’ll store it. Your liver does this to keep the incoming chemicals and toxins out of your bloodstream – and keep them from causing you immediate harm. It’s a short term favor your liver will do for you, but if it’s allowed to happen continually, it’ll absolutely cause problems over time.

By smoking, toxins will build up in your liver and throughout your entire body. With time, your liver will become impaired and unable to do its regular work – including burning fat and daily detoxification. Actually, smoking is a great way to build toxicity in your liver and therefore hinder your liver’s ability to burn fat. But that’s a far cry from what most people want. It’s the exact opposite of what they want.

Quitting smoking is an excellent move in the right direction to dramatically decrease your incoming toxic load. In addition, doing a body cleanse, including a liver cleanse, can work wonders in removing much of the toxicity that smokers and even ex-smokers carry in their bodies. Because, while it’s unfortunate, most accumulated toxicity will stay in your body until some deep cleansing, especially liver cleansing, is done. And there’s only so much of a toxic burden that a body can bear before it begins having problems. Weight gain is actually a common sign of an unhealthy liver! So are health problems.

It’s widely accepted that health problems are both more common and more serious in people who smoke. Do you know why? The pollution of the body with so many highly toxic chemicals is certainly a considerable part of the reason.

The other part is that by overburdening the liver, those chemicals actually hamper the liver’s ability to detoxify the body – in general. And when the liver can’t detoxify all of the incoming chemicals from smoking, and other common sources like processed foods, non-organic foods, lotions, cosmetics, and shampoos, you will undoubtedly begin to see health problems.

In addition, if you haven’t quit yet, body cleansing can help you quit. This is because it’s the chemicals from the cigarettes trapped inside your body that cause the cravings. You didn’t have cravings before you began smoking did you? So by removing those chemicals, you can fairly easily eliminate your cravings. Trust me, both dropping the butt and cleansing your body can be two of the best things you’ve ever done. And you might just lose some weight in the process.
